As a writer and marketing specialist, Stefanie’s worked with some of the biggest brands around the globe. Brands like Nike, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Vancouver Giants, Tesco, and Benefit Cosmetics have turned to her for thoughtful strategic-planning and effective creative writing.
Not one to sit still, over the last decade Stef has lived on three continents, and travelled to fifty countries.
She spent numerous years working in the action sports industry with her time at Quiksilver and Roxy, and has a strong grasp on the opportunities and challenges that lie in the Canadian retail industry. Working at Hearst Magazines UK in London for a few years further expanded her knowledge in communications with some of the biggest names in media. Her time spent running events and working as a consultant in Ghana inspired the work of her first novel — coming soon!
Now, back in her hometown of Vancouver, she’s taken her skills to the world of tech as the Senior Manager or Partnership Marketing at PressReader, the world’s largest digital newsstand. Here, she works with more than 7,000 global publications like Vogue, The Washington Post and Fast Co. to help their brands evolve their digital strategy. Her role also sees her managing relationships with key business partners including Cathay Pacific, Air Canada, and The Spirit of Tasmania.
So yeah, the girl knows what she’s talking about. Stef loves sharing her expertise in branding and marketing with start-ups, small businesses, and professionals. “There are so many cool people doing interesting, influential things in every community. Sometimes they just need help explaining what they do and getting what word out. That’s where I come in.”
