There have been two and a half consecutive weekends of sun here in London, so I’ve decided to optimistically push the Moncler to the back of the closet and embrace the bright colours and florals Spring fashion has to offer. We’ve already touched on how to wear these styles early in the season when the temperature doesn’t exactly peak, but here’s a few pics of what I’m wearing in the lead up to bikini season.
I have no fear of colour, and the new Spring coats out there are rocking my world – and after wearing my camel, black and grey coats since September I’m exhausted of them! This is the perfect trend for functionality in both of my homes: London and Vancouver. You don’t need to sacrifice your core body temperature to look fresh!
ALL. WHITE. E’ERYTHING. No explanation needed – this is just hot. Thank you, Chloe.
Round lensed sunnies with square or cat-inspired frames.
As I’ve mentioned a time or eight, I love denim. It’s the best way to throw in a little rough edge with girlie shoes, accessories and bright colours of Spring. My favourite are always a skinny fit with a little knicking and grinding to give them a carefree weekend vibe. A cuff to show off a skinny ankle with a sleek and elongating pointed toe in a pop colour is absolutely to die for.
And never, NEVER underestimate the power of a plain white T-shirt. Add a chunky necklace, leather skinnies, lived-in denim jacket, bright blazer, high-waisted skirt – the options are endless. Just remember that fit is everything. Like denim, all T-shirts are not created equal.
Keep it sunny, ladies!
